Setting Up a Simbase SIM Card

Simbase is an IoT connectivity platform with flexible, pay-per-use cellular data SIM cards. The cards are compatible with Mesa tablets and Archer 4 handheld.
To set up a Simbase SIM card, follow the instructions provided by Simbase. When you reach Step 3: How to set up the APN, the instructions are generic. The following sections provide APN setup instructions for specific devices.
Mesa 3 Android and Archer 4
To set up an APN on Mesa 3 Android or Archer 4,
Power off your Android device. Insert the SIM card, and then power on the device.
Open Settings, and select Network & Internet > SIMs.
Select the SIM card, then select Access Point Names.
When you open it, one APN may already be configured. You will need to add a second APN.Tap Add

to create a new APN.
Enter the APN settings as shown on the Android tab of the linked page, and tap Save.
Note: After you add the second APN, it may not appear in the list. This is expected behavior and does not indicate a problem.Restart the device to apply the settings.
Mesa Pro and Mesa 4 Windows
To set up the APN on Mesa Pro and Mesa 4 Windows,
Power off the tablet. Insert the SIM card, and then power on the device.
Open Settings. Select Network & internet > Cellular.
Ensure Data roaming options is set to Roam.
Select Mobile operator settings > Add APN.
Enter the profile name and APN:
In Profile name, enter simbase.
In APN, enter simbase.
Ensure Apply this profile is selected.
Select Save.
Mesa 3 Windows
To set up the APN on Mesa 3 Windows, follow the instructions for setting up an APN with skylight.
Set the data roaming to roam.
Open Settings. Select Network & internet > Cellular.
Ensure Data roaming options is set to Roam.
