Summary of Changes: Android 14 to 16

Android 16 is available for Archer 4. Android will notify you that a system update is available. Follow the instructions in Android 16 OS Update for Archer 4.
Notifications. A new type of notification for ongoing jobs, such as navigation, deliveries, timed workflows, shows progress without repeatedly opening the app shows on the lock screen and the notification shade for supported apps.
Private Space. Introduced in Android 15, a lockable area on your phone to keep sensitive apps out of sight. Apps in the private space will not show in lists of recent apps, notifications, or in the launcher. A private space can be useful on shared devices. It may be disabled on devices managed by your organization.
Back Gesture. As more app developers adopt the preview animation introduced in Android 14, the back gesture will coninue to seem more predictable.
Photos. As more app developers adopt the access to only selected photos introduced in Android 14, you'll be asked which photos to allow the app to access. Older apps may behave differently than they used to.
Privacy. Android 15 includes features related to notifications to protect your privacy. Notifications are kept out of screen-sharing sessions and one-time passcodes are kept from other apps.
Security. Beginning in Android 14, apps for very old versions of Android may not install or may require a new installation. Updated versions are preferred.
UltraHDR. The extended capabilities include UltraHDR in HEIC.
